Overview

The International Relations Study Program at Universitas Katolik Parahyangan (UNPAR) offers high-quality education focused on the political, economic, social, and cultural dynamics of the global landscape.     Vision

    To become a nationally outstanding and regionally trusted study program in Asia through high-quality education, dynamic research and knowledge development, and meaningful community engagement in accordance with the field of International Relations.

    Mission
    1. Providing International Relations education that enlightens and equips students to become professional graduates with strong character, integrity, leadership skills, and active engagement in global affairs.

    2. Conducting research and producing high-quality publications that serve as references for understanding, analyzing, and explaining global phenomena, contributing to the development of International Relations as a discipline, and providing input for policymaking at national, regional, and international levels.

    3. Engaging in community service to collaboratively address and anticipate various changes at national, regional, and international levels.

    Objectives

    • Producing graduates with comprehensive knowledge of International Relations, sharp analytical skills, essential soft skills (emotional intelligence, negotiation, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork), strong leadership qualities, and a commitment to academic and humanitarian ethics.

    • Generating high-quality publications that contribute to academic development, serve as references for teaching activities, and are recognized by the International Relations academic community, as well as providing recommendations for policymaking.

    • Implementing community engagement activities in the field of International Relations to address global challenges and changes through awareness-raising initiatives, capacity-building programs, and empowerment efforts.

    • Establishing strong networks at the national, regional, and global levels to support education, research, and community service initiatives.

    • Ensuring effective governance and maintaining an academic environment that fosters the implementation of the university’s threefold mission (education, research, and community service).
