HI UNPAR & TU Dortmund Webinar: The New US Administration under Trump and the New Geopolitical Order

On May 8, 2025, four lecturers from UNPAR’s International Relations Department served as speakers in an international webinar titled “The New US Administration under Trump and the New Geopolitical Order.” The event was held online by the International Relations Study Program of Parahyangan Catholic University in collaboration with the Faculty of Humanities and Theology, Technische Universität Dortmund, Germany.

Moderated by Adrianus Harsawaskita, MA, the webinar featured presentations from three UNPAR IR lecturers and one lecturer from TU Dortmund. Dr. Stanislaus Risadi Apresian opened the session with “The Future and Challenges of Cooperation and Collaboration in Addressing Global Warming.” This was followed by Meyta Saraswaty Putri, MA, who delivered an analysis on “Trump’s Leadership in Reshaping Security Dynamics in the Asia-Pacific,” and Marshel Adi Putra, MA, who discussed “Trump’s Impact on Global Politics: How Trump Changes Global Diplomatic Relations.”

This event was held as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration and partnerships between UNPAR’s International Relations Study Program and Technische Universität Dortmund, particularly in the fields of education and research.
