PROFILE

Adri was born and raised in Jakarta. He began his elementary education at St. Bellarminus Elementary School, followed by junior high and high school at Kanisius College. He then studied international relations at the Department of International Relations, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia (UI). After graduating from UI, Adri continued his master’s studies at the National University of Singapore (NUS), writing a thesis on the triangular relationship between Muangthai, Vietnam, and the People’s Republic of China, which used the Khmer Rouge as a tool of conflict in the Indochina War in the 1980s.

After completing his master’s degree, Adri continued to work at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Jakarta in the Department of International Relations. He then became a part-time lecturer at the Indonesian Christian University (UKI) Jakarta, teaching in the Department of International Relations. Finally, since 2000, he has been teaching at the International Relations Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Parahyangan Catholic University, where he remains today.

Adri is interested in foreign policy and strategic studies. His areas of interest are the United States and Indonesian politics.
