PROFILE
Annisa Paramita Wiharani has been a full-time lecturer in the International Relations Study Programme at Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR) since 2023. Her research interests include international cooperation, higher education partnerships, transnational networks, smart cities, digital governance, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in International Relations from Universitas Gadjah Mada, graduating cum laude, and is currently a PhD candidate in International Relations at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.
Annisa serves as the Team Leader of the Orange Knowledge Programme, a higher education capacity-building initiative focused on governance and cybersecurity education through an Indonesia–Netherlands partnership. She is also involved in the ASEAN Smart Cities Network (ASCN) and the Southeast Asia Friendship Initiative in collaboration with the National University of Singapore (NUS), which focuses on urban resilience in Southeast Asia. In addition, she serves as a Supervisor for Monitoring and Evaluation of the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA).
She has received several international fellowships, including those from the Asian Development Institute, Seoul National University (SNU), the Republic of Korea, the SDGs Fellowship at Montgomery College in the United States, as well as CITYNET and United Cities and Local Governments Asia-Pacific (UCLG ASPAC).
At UNPAR, Annisa also serves as Manager of International Affairs within the Directorate of Cooperation, International Affairs, and Alumni. Prior to joining UNPAR, she was a member of the teaching team in the International Undergraduate Programme of the Department of Public Policy and Management at Universitas Gadjah Mada, a lecturer and member of the founding team of the International Relations Study Programme at Universitas Sebelas Maret, and Programme Coordinator for the Asia-Pacific Region at the Office of International Affairs, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Annisa is a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Studies in the United Kingdom (ASEASUK) and the Regional Studies Association (RSA).
