PROFILE
Anak Agung Sagung Dyah Ayunda Nadia Agastya, fondly known as Dyah, began her career as an adjunct lecturer in the International Relations Study Program at Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR) in 2021, after completing her master’s degree with the support of the UNPAR Alumni Pacupasca Scholarship. Dyah is committed to developing knowledge in the field of international relations through teaching, research, and community service.
In addition to teaching, Dyah also conducts research and community service focused on issues of gender, migration, development, international political economy, and the environment. She was part of the UNPAR International Relations team in the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency’s National Research Priority (PRN) and was involved in a research collaboration program called The Child Health and Migrant Parents in South-East Asia (CHAMPSEA) with Hong Kong University in Tasikmalaya Regency and Sukabumi Regency. In the field of community service, Dyah participated in a women’s economic empowerment program in areas affected by projects in West Bandung Regency, in collaboration with PLN and funded by the World Bank, as well as in the dissemination of information on safe migration in Sukabumi Regency, involving UN Women, ILO, SBMI, and AKATIGA.
Dyah is also an active member of the Epistemic Community of Gender in International Relations, a community that seeks to improve networking, academic insights, and transformative teaching methods. In addition, she is involved in consulting and training facilitation activities related to gender issues, including collaborating with Kemitraan and the UN Global Compact Network Indonesia in various training and advocacy programs.
