PROFILE

Anggun has been a permanent lecturer since 2011. Her doctoral studies were conducted with the support of a Fulbright scholarship.

Before joining Unpar, she interned at CSIS Jakarta and was a Research Assistant at the Indonesia Program, RSIS, NTU, Singapore.

Her research interests lie at the intersection of security and international politics, foreign policy, and public opinion, with a focus on the Southeast Asian region and countries.

Her research focuses on the perceptions of elites and non-elites regarding international cooperation in the field of democracy, the motivations and impacts of choosing certain cooperation designs in democratic cooperation, Indonesia’s challenges in implementing the Free and Active principle in international political and security issues, and how political elites understand the international world and its implications for foreign policy. She uses various methods ranging from experiments, quantitative and qualitative methods, and surveys in her research.

The results of his research are regularly presented at various overseas seminars and have been published in several international journals, book chapters, and national and international newspapers. His research has been supported by various grants from governmental and non-governmental institutions at home and abroad and has received awards from overseas.
