PROFILE
Rizky Widian, S.IP., M.Si. obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the International Relations Study Program at Parahyangan Catholic University in 2016. He obtained his Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Indonesia in 2018.
The courses he teaches at UNPAR include courses in the field of Security Studies in International Relations. Some of these courses are Security Studies, US Global Politics, and Chinese Global Politics.
In 2014, Rizky Widian received the Best Delegation award and was one of the winners in the 26th PNMHII Scientific Discussion at Padjajaran University. In 2018, Rizky Widian was part of a qualitative research project titled “Australia, Indonesia and the Great Powers in the Cold War, 1945-1978” as a research assistant.
His research interests include the South China Sea dispute, regional security in the Asia-Pacific region, and security studies in international relations in general. One example of a publication related to this interest is an article titled “Cooperation & Security Dilemma in The South China Sea: Conflict Management & the Increasing of China’s Power.”
