PROFILE

Vrameswari Omega Wati has been a permanent lecturer in the International Relations Study Program at Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, since 2017. Her studies focus on Indonesian foreign policy, the Pacific region, and non-traditional security studies. She received a full scholarship from the Ministry of Defense to complete her master’s degree. Currently, she is preparing for her doctoral studies at the University of Bielefeld, Germany, with the support of a full scholarship from the Katholischer Akademischer Ausländer-Dienst (KAAD), which focuses her research on feminist foreign policy and issues related to women, peace, and security.

In addition to teaching and conducting research, Vrameswari is active in community service activities that focus on development issues, such as food security, natural disaster mitigation, and women’s empowerment. She has received research and curriculum development grants from the Ministry of Research and Technology and Erasmus+, and has collaborated with various ministries in Indonesia on research projects.

Vrameswari also has experience working with international organizations such as Save the Children, Rikolto, and the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact (MUFPP) on research and community empowerment programs. Her commitment to sustainable development issues is reflected in her contributions to various academic and community fields.
